We are excited to announce a special district wide event: Cardinals Game and Tailgate Party Sunday at State Farm Stadium—the tailgate celebration is followed by an NFL game at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Rams vs. Cardinals. This is a unique opportunity for Rotary and Friends to come together in fellowship and community spirit while being spotlighted on the Jumbotron—but only if we meet our goal of selling our allotted tickets!
Action Requested: PLEASE INFORM Deb Koeneman (debk18887@gmail.com) or Kayla Mudge (kayla.mudge@gmail.com) of the # tickets you think you will purchase (for your, your family, your friends, or any Rotaractors or Interactors you know)
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) emailed Club President Kayla Mudge to let her know that the meals that our club volunteers packed were shipped to Guatemala and Thailand.
Precious children will be eating a nourishing meal soon because of you. Thank you. You've made an incredible difference.
Did you know? Meals usually take between two weeks and six months to travel to their destination. It all depends on where in the world they go and how hard it is to get there. They cross the ocean by ship or plane and wait in line to clear customs. Then they journey by car, bike, canoe or even donkey to reach our partners. Many hands carry these meals to children and families in need.
The Rotary Foundation transforms charitable contributions into programs to fight polio and build peace, into humanitarian projects that change lives, and into scholarships and vocational training. The funds are also used for local projects that Rotary members feel passionate about.
As a global organization that operates in nearly every country, Rotary takes stewardship of its funds seriously and has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator for many years in a row.
The Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers ensures that grant funds are spent properly. In addition, trained members oversee the use of funds at the club and district level.
As Rotarians, we are regularly exposed to opportunities to support various causes with our time, talent and treasure. Sometimes it is hard to sift through all the information and decide where we are going to use our available financial resources.
It would be wonderful if every Mesa West Rotarian would make the following BIG FOUR their Rotary charities of choice and support every one of them every year, we could make a bigger difference than we are making today.
