There is no lunch meeting this week since it is a 5th Thursday. Instead, you can socialize at the Valley Remodeling Harvest Social. Contact President Connie for details.
Rotary is committed to raising US$50 million every year for polio eradication. Through our partnership with the Gates Foundation, every $1 of that is matched 2-to-1.
Raising both funds and awareness and mobilizing volunteers are among Rotary’s primary roles as a partner in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. With our members, we’ve contributed more than $2.6 billion to fight polio, including matching funds from the Gates Foundation, and Rotary volunteers have dedicated countless hours to protecting children everywhere.
You can take action and raise awareness on World Polio Day, 24 October, and throughout the year.
Help end polio by making a gift to the PolioPlus Fund at endpolio.org.
Hey Rotary family! My name is Andy Bradford. I joined Rotary in 2024. I was drawn to the ideals of the 4 Way Test, service above self, and the smiling faces I have met at every Rotary service project, meeting, and social. As Sargent at Arms, I had the opportunity to know you all on a deeper level which as been a huge blessing in my life.
Professionally, I am the team leader of a group of realtors out of the Realty One office in Gilbert. We call ourselves Be the Good Group. We have a mission to serve our communities in and through real estate by putting our clients needs at the forefront of everything we say and do.
Away from all this, my wife and 6 kids love to travel, hike, and spend time together watching movies and playing games of all kinds. In my free time, I love to play disc golf and happy to teach anyone wanting to learn!
Note: Andy is currently Mesa West's President Elect, meaning he will be club President next Rotary Year.
Several MRWC members attended Aster Aging's annual fundraiser breakfast last Thursday. Additionally, MRWC members met up at the First United Methodist Church of Mesa to make bed rolls for people experiencing homelessness.
As Rotarians, we are regularly exposed to opportunities to support various causes with our time, talent and treasure. Sometimes it is hard to sift through all the information and decide where we are going to use our available financial resources.
It would be wonderful if every Mesa West Rotarian would make the following BIG FOUR their Rotary charities of choice and support every one of them every year, we could make a bigger difference than we are making today.
