The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale recently expressed their appreciation for the Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary community basketball game hosted at their Virginia G Piper Branch recently. Proceeds from the event will be used to re-surface the basketball court floor.
Shout out to the players from Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club, Scottsdale Police Department, Scottsdale Fire Department, Scottsdale Leadership, Inc., Rotary Club of Scottsdale, Valley of the Sun Active 20-30 Club, Merrill, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Delphi Wealth Management Group, Rotary Club of Mesa West, FranklinCovey and Experience Scottsdale. Mayor David Ortega shot free throws during halftime. It was a close game but the Blue team won by three points.
