Mesa West Rotarians who have been around for a while are likely to remember one of our Rotary friends from Canada - Lolita Wiesner. Mesa West was her home away from home when she and her husband Hans spent their winters in Mesa. Hans frequently accompanied Lolita to club socials. Following the recent Rotary International convention in Calgary, Hans picked up John Pennypacker and took him to the Wiesner home where he has been enjoying some relaxation. They spent some time showing John some of the amazing scenery in the Canadian Rockies. Lolita and Hans are shown at Bow River Falls, and John is shown with a new "friend" he met while visiting Banff with the Wiesners. John said it looked like there were at least 10,000 people visiting Banff the day they were there.
