Our own Polly Cady is District Chair of Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI). At the May 31 Institute held in Anthem, Ed Koeneman and Pam Cohen served as facilitators, and a few Mesa West members assisted with logistical details - Kayla Mudge, Harry Grossman and Allan Cady. We didn't have anyone in the graduating class on May 31, but Connie Bunyard and Machel Considine each participated in separate sessions.
RLI is a very worthwhile 3-session institute where new members can learn about Rotary beyond the club level and long-time members can learn details about the larger world of Rotary that have happened without their being fully aware. Each time the institute is scheduled, Polly tries to fill all three of the sessions. They are held at various locations in the District, so participants get in a little Rotary tourism as they participate in each of the three separate sessions. If you decide to commit to attend the three sessions in the future, it will be a great opportunity to make new friends and learn a few more reasons why you are a proud Rotarian.
