Rotary International and most Rotary Clubs operate on a fiscal year of July 1 through June 30 of the following year. With each new fiscal year, comes new leadership. Our new International President is from Pennsylvania, and is only the second woman to serve in that role. The July issue of the Rotary Magazine is very informative about Stephanie and her dreams for her year. The Rotary International theme for the 2024-25 fiscal year is "The Magic of Rotary."To enable local leaders to effectively plan their year, there are monthly themes. July is New Leadership Month.
In Mesa West, we are welcoming Jay Paulus as our new Club President.
A document has recently been uploaded to the club website showing the history of International Presidents, their themes, District Governors, and Mesa West Rotary Club Presidents going back to the year our club was chartered - 1973. Also included are Club Presidents of the Mesa Baseline club which merged into Mesa West at the end of the 2014-15 fiscal year. Mesa Baseline Rotary Club was chartered before Mesa West Rotary.
