Today’s meeting was part 2 of the Club Assembly with today’s topic being engagement. She talked about the advice from DG Joe Sweeny that committees have at least two or more members. Next Dave Dacus and Chuck Flint talked about what got them into Rotary and keeps them engaged. Then Christian Wohl and Machel Considine who also spoke about what inspired them to join Rotary and spoke about their committees. Machel is the chair of the Programs Committee. This committee arranges for speakers for our club lunch meetings. Christian is the chair of the social committee, so he will help to plan some fun outside-of-Rotary activities where we can have fellowship and bonding with each other. This collage of pictures is from the recent social outing at DVine Bistro in Mesa that included family and potential club members.
