At our June 13 meeting, most Mesa West Rotarians had their last chance to enjoy time with a young man whose quiet dignity and sense of humor endeared him to those who had a chance to spend time with him. We heard that he had a chance to go to the shooting range to check one final thing off his youth exchange bucket list. He had the opportunity to learn about gun safety and shoot a rifle. Before returning to Ecuador, Caio was scheduled to spend a couple of weeks in Florida. He will definitely understand the difference between "wet" and "dry" heat.
At Sky Harbor to bid a final farewell was Past President, Allan Cady,. Also there to say good-by were members of his host families: Amanda and Sammy Rosenberg, Dan and Colleen Coons, and Ryan Del'Ollio.
We hope he will regularly send updates to share in the Messenger as he begins each new adventure in his life.
