The Rotary International nominating committee has selected Barry Rassin of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, East Providence, Bahamas to fill the void left by the July death of Sam F. Owori two weeks into his term as RI President-Elect. Rassin will be declared the president-elect on September 1 if no challenging candidates have been suggested and will serve as president-elect for the balance of this Rotary year, and as the President of Rotary International July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
